The Common: Coming 2022

I’ve been photographing a section of woodland and common land for the past 5+ years. What initially started out as a handy location to shoot in has developed into an ongoing project.

Last year I began to wonder what to do with this collection of images.

After some thought I have decided to put these together into a book. This will be a self published photo book, with a small print run. It’s an exciting project to work on and will be a nice way to bring the images gathered so far together.

I was hoping to be able to publish this in 2020. The work is about 80% complete and I wanted to add a few more winter scenes and some taken in the spring. The challenges of the current world mean that I will be unlikely to be able to get these images in time. Therefore I suspect that this will be published in 2022.
